By creating an account or using the RepoReady service (“Service”) at repoready.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. RepoReady is operated by its owner (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
RepoReady is a GitHub repository security and launch-readiness audit tool. The Service connects to your GitHub account via OAuth, fetches selected files from repositories you designate, and runs automated pattern-matching rules against those files to surface potential security issues and launch blockers.
The Service is informational only. Scan results are not a guarantee of security, compliance, or fitness for any purpose. The absence of findings does not mean your codebase is free of vulnerabilities.
You must authenticate via GitHub OAuth to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You may not create accounts for others without their consent.
You may only scan repositories that you own or have explicit authorization to audit. By submitting a repository for scanning, you represent that:
We verify ownership at scan time via the GitHub API. Submitting repositories you do not own or are not authorized to audit is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination.

RepoReady offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:
Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal date until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
All payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 7 days at billing@repoready.app.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice to active subscribers before any price change takes effect.
The free tier entitles you to one (1) scan, ever. Free tier scans display the top 3 findings only. This limit is enforced at the database level. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent the free scan limit is a violation of these Terms.
The RepoReady service, including its rule engine, scoring logic, fix guidance text, and UI, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You retain ownership of all code in your repositories. We do not claim any rights to your source code or scan results.
Scan results and public report pages may be shared freely. The “Scanned by RepoReady” badge and associated links in public reports may not be removed or altered.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE IS ERROR-FREE, THAT FINDINGS ARE COMPLETE OR ACCURATE, OR THAT YOUR CODEBASE IS SECURE AS A RESULT OF USING THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REPOREADY AND ITS OWNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO SECURITY INCIDENTS, DATA BREACHES, LOST REVENUE, OR DAMAGE TO REPUTATION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RepoReady and its owners from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party’s rights, including scanning repositories without authorization.
We make no guarantees about uptime or availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice. In the event of discontinuation, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice to active paid subscribers and refund any unused prepaid subscription time.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you violate these Terms, particularly the Authorized Use and Prohibited Uses sections. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid subscription fees.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and notify active paid subscribers by email at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
